A dedicated dive center in Faial
DIVE AZORES is a small, but professional dive center in Horta, Faial Island, with high safety standards, personal service and a team spirit. Our dives are led by experienced and licensed dive guides and marine biologists who are familiar with the local conditions and marine life.

01. Equipment

Our dive center is equipped with high quality annually serviced MARES equipment: BCDs, regulators, one-piece 7mm neoprene wetsuits with woods, 3mm neoprene booties and gloves, adjustable fins and 12L and 15L steel tanks (available upon request) with both DIN and Yoke fittings. 3mm neoprene vests are available for the most chilled. 02. Rinsing facilities & equipment storage

After each diving trip, your gear and camera equipment can be rinsed directly in the marina in our rinse tanks or conveniently washed with pressure with our fresh water hose. Hangers are provided for wet suits and BCDs, and each diver is provided with a bag for storing the smaller items. We kindly ask divers to store the empty travel diving bags at the hotel until the end of their stay.

03. Our Boats

PAIKEA is a comfortable 10m RIB boat powered by 2×175 Hp Yamaha 4-stroke outboards that is ideal for our diving conditions. PRINCESA ALICE is a fast 9m RIB boat powered by a 300 Hp Suzuki 4-stroke outboard engine. They are both equipped for divers comfort in accordance with the EU safety standards with VHF Radio, GPS, Depth Sounder, Emergency Oxygen and First Aid Kits, and are operated by licensed and experienced crew.

Gift certificates can be sent by email to the buyer for presentation to the recipient, or we can email the certificate directly to your indicated recipient. Please indicate your preferences when ordering.
Gift certificates are recorded on our records under the name of the buyer, so when the recipient calls or emails for a reservation we’ll ask for the “givers” name and certificate number.
Gift certificates must be redeemed one year from the date of purchase and are not refundable.
